If you are anything like me, you’ll understand that regret is the worst feeling you can ever experience.

“Its what you do in the dash” probably is the best reminder that you only got ONE shot at living. So what’s the whole “dash” thing about?

Got this lovely quote from a Greg Plitt (RIP) video on YouTube. It was a laid back Sunday and I was looking for some sort of inspiration to kick start my week when I found this video.

The message is simple, you have one and only one life so you gotta live to the max, accomplish all that you ever wanted and have no regrets.

Usually, there are two years written on your tomb stone 1947-2100. The dash in between the years represents life. What you decide to do with your life is up to you hence the quote “Its what you do in the dash”.

Love it! Almost anyone can relate to it. It also applies to pretty much any situation you could be in life.

As for me, I relate to this in terms of health. I had plans of getting fit and help other people along the way but I had never gone about taking action. This Greg Plitt quote reminded me that you just never know when your time will come.

Better to chase your dream and fill the “dash” with great memories and avoid regrets when you finally face the death.

Greg Plitt passed away in a freak accident while filming for his YouTube video. This guy was at the peak of his career with one of the best bodies in the fitness industry. Did he have any regrets? Probably…

…But the dude had accomplished a LOT, in fact, this stunt was one of many he attempted before. I would have felt accomplished if I were to tick just half of the items he did.

Guess what I’m saying is, don’t wait till you’re crippled or laying on your death bed to try get in shape, you can start off small with proven lifestyle changes.

Here is 3 ways to get started on your fitness journey and I hope this motivates you to get started.

    One of today’s greatest evil is marketing. To be frank its a double edged sword, solely depends on the marketer’s intention. For the biggest food companies, they use marketing to shove unhealthy food down your throat while the while keeping all the profits.One way to go about this is simply practicing intermittent fasting. Not enticing, I know but there are hundreds of benefits all backed up science that totally outweigh any other diet.Once your body gets used to the fasting, you will never look back on the mainstream “3 meal diet” diet, you will start seeing benefits in as little as 1 week.
  2. HIIT training is your best friend
    I find hear say to be absolute nonsense and that’s why when it comes to fitness, if a diet/lifestyle really makes sense, I like going through the entire experience before coming to conclusions.

    From personal experience, High Intensity Interval Training delivers the fastest results the fastest.

Most people die at age 25 and don’t get buried until they are 65. Make an effort to live your life to the fullest.

You can’t help getting old but you can do something about the aging.
